Black Apple Dolls with Tu-tu skirts!

Adam's cousin's daughter, Addison, turned one a few weeks ago and I made my first attempt at making a doll (free Black Apple pattern via Martha Stewart here) and although it was by no means perfect, I thought it turned out fairly good. The tu-tu skirt is removable, I just tied some tulle in a knot all the way around an elastic circle. I cut up a picture from the invitation and tied it around her...see the similarity?? =)
