Weeknight Winners

Weeknight Winners is a collection of meal ideas that are really easy, really yummy and/or really quick!

Up today we have lasagna, with yummy garlic bread and a quick Caesar salad kit. I just follow the lasagna recipe off the box (Adam loves it and its EASY!)...I use the no-boil pasta. For the bread, I just buy a mini-Italian loaf cut slices (but not all the way through the bread) and just drizzle butter over (I use half and half butter cause its better for you...but don't tell Adam, haha!) and then just shake garlic salt over the whole loaf and pop it in the oven with the lasagna for a few minutes. It's not the quickest recipe in the world, but it is soooo good, and is definitely cheaper than Olive Garden!! =)

Elles Studio Goodies!

So I finally scrapbooked some last week (I've just been BUSY lately) and make six two-pagers with LOTS of pictures and a couple single pagers...and a card set, and a couple of wreaths and some cutie pie clothespin dolls! Haha! Productive week! (Granted: most of these were for various assignments and things but STILL!) So check back daily for more STUFF!

Oh, also, whoever doesn't enter stuff because they think they will never win...really should start entering sweepstakes and giveaways, cause you just never know. I got a $100 Publix gift card in the mail Friday from a sweepstakes I entered months ago! Shocking, I know...but really exciting too!

And speaking of winning stuff, I won these yummy goodies below in a WCMD giveaway at Elles Studio...and finally got around to using a little bit of that awesome prize package!

My Husband Loves Me!

He may get mad at me for posting this, but since he sees most all of the stuff that goes on this blog way before it goes on to this blog, he only checks it periodically sooooo...maybe he'll miss this, haha!

Reason #1, 293, 497 I know my husband loves me:
Sometimes he leaves me sweet notes on the floor when he leaves for work. Awwwww.
Have a great Saturday! =)

Taylor's Birthday

It was a super-cute Word World theme...where everything spells out what it is...
Melissa makes the awesomest cakes...everyone thinks they're the best!
The kids all played at the park...
The grandpas had to form a human shield to keep the candle alive long enough for Tay to blow it out!
Taylor agrees...mom's cakes are the best!
And presents...lots of presents! =)

It's amazing how time flies! =)

Quirky Birthday Card

This isn't my normal card style, but I tried to make something age-appropriate for Taylor's birthday...it was very bright and glittery in real life! =)

Tired, Tired.

I have been SOOO busy with lots of fun stuff...cooking, cleaning, painting frames for DOVES, and working on a fun little secret that I am so excited about...more soon! I've also been doing the not-so-fun stuff...job-hunting and errands galore.

All that to say, I haven't been doing much scrapbooking at all...however, I have some FUNNNN Melody Ross stuff on the the way to me (hopefully it will arrive today!!) that I can NOT wait to play with!!!

But I can hardly post without a picture so here's TaylorCutiePie with the balloons Adam and I bought for her birthday; Auntie Amber made her take a picture; what can I say, I'm a cheesy scrapbooker like that! Ha! =)

Hope your day is great!

Strawberry Pickin'

So I know these pictures are older (look how much her hair has grown!), but my mom took Taylor strawberry picking a while back and I think these pictures are just ridiculously cute...

Breast Cancer Awareness!

Hello! Many of you probably know that my mom is an AVON representative. She recently told me of this great offer that AVON has where you purchase a really cute bag (below) for $10 and the net proceeds - which means neither AVON nor my mom get any profit off the bag - of $6.24 are donated entirely to breast cancer funding and awareness. I thought it would be really cool if I could sell ten of these bags (or more!) to help raise some money! Plus, I just think this bag makes it a really cool deal!

If you'd like to help me reach my goal of 10 bags sold, you can email me for more information. Even if you are not local, you can purchase the bag online at AVON.com and give credit to my mom by entering her phone number in the checkout process (please email me for the number).
Let's help raise money for breast cancer!

Extra, Extra!

My little Tori canvas was featured on the GCD Studios blog, along with lots of other BEAUTIFUL work by the design team...go check it out here!

Paper Dolls

This month's lesson in my class was God made me special, so we made paper dolls. I never remember making paper dolls as a kid, so it was pretty fun (albeit a LOT of cutting!) to do...and I loved how they all looked. Each doll was supposed to look (sortof) like the kid who made it. I found templates for the dolls and clothes online and printed them (with my wonderful wide format printer...thank you, bestest husband!) on 12x12 scrapbooking paper and let the kids pick their own embellishments!
Hope you have a grand day! =)

Best Invention Ever!

If you are busy like me, but still like cooking...you probably use a crockpot at least once every week or two...if you don't use these CrockPot liners...you SHOULD! A dear friend at church introduced them to me and her husband bought me a couple of boxes of them, and let me just tell you, I am SOLD! They are the best thing ever...they save so much time on clean-up!
