Christmas Eve Eve!

This year, we did the girl's Christmas at our house on Christmas Eve Eve!! Usually we do it with my parent's but the scheduling didn't work out right, so we did it separately this year...we started out the night with pizza and some blue (pixie stick + blue koolaid) tongues!!Then we quickly progressed to PRESSSEEEENNNTTSS!Look at these happy faces!! There were lots of cute outifits (that Uncle Adam thought were fun to throw on Tori's head)...

And princess LIPGLOSS!Which they slathered on quickly, and then wanted to kiss Uncle Adam...

He was game with kisses, but when Tori tried to apply lipgloss to Uncle Adam, he sadly had to draw the line and sweetly inform them, that "boys don't wear lipgloss!"

So he got more kisses instead!

(All part of the girls plan to lipglossify Uncle Adam!!)

The best presents were of course, matching princess, pink, glittery, heartified scooters for each of them.

Tori LOVED putting her lipgloss in the front bag, zipping it up, scooting two feet, stopping, unzipping her pouch, re-applying her lipgloss, and repeating...over, and over. It was SO, so, SO funny and cute!Then Taylor wanted to put on one of her new shirts and told Tori that if she wanted to look pretty too, she (Taylor) would help her (Tori) put on her new shirt, too! Haha! So Tori put on her new shirt too and we took pictures!

They then proceeded to play with all of my shatterproof ornaments and rearranged them until it was time to go. Merry Christmas to my two sweethearts!! Uncle Adam & Auntie Amber loooove you!

Finishing Up Christmas

Wellllll, I have been extremely busy...purging, cleaning, working, etc. I hope to have quite a few things to share in the next couple of days, but until then, I'll have to share the last remnants of Christmas....Adam's sister and her husband got snowed in and weren't able to make it back in time for Christmas festivities so we exchanged presents at our house....

Instead of bows this year, I made red and green pom-poms using my wonderful pom-pom maker...and I bought some plaid wrapping paper from Hallmark to finish off a sort of homespun look. =) Yeah, I'm cheesy like that! I also made this frame with GCD Studios Artsy Urban line...I'll have to locate a better picture of this (can't seem to find it right now!)

Christmas Day 2009 In Pictures!

Umm, so. I have a TON of pictures from Christmas, essentially, we did four family Christmases (counting our own) so this is definitely a condensed version...

Sadly enough, I don't have any pictures of Adam and my Christmas together, but it was really fun and sweet. I love him SOOOOO much!

Then, we went over to my parent's for a present exchange and of course, LOTS of pictures! Hey, I am a scrapbooker, so it's necessary! My Daddy has gotten the hang of self-portraits! =)

Then we did a present exchange at my Nanny & Pops...Nanny isn't too fond of me putting her picture on my blog "for all the world to see" so I'll only post one picture of them...I made them a fun calendar...post later!

Then Adam and I spent the majority of the day at his parent's house...this is one of the few pictures of us together...he is anti-photos...

We also tried to do self-portraits, buuuut, my eyes are closed.

Christmas Eve 2009!

These two DARLINGS came over for a few hours Christmas Eve morning and got to play with everything Christmasy...glitter ornaments, my silver Christmas trees, the reindeer...etc. They were deliriously happy with the freedom to touch ANYTHING they wanted!! There was glitter on everything! =)We always get lots of family pictures on Christmas Eve...here's my Daddy's whole family...lots of presents and good food and tons of pictures, here's just a few!

Christmas Presents

I got sooo many wonderful presents this year...Adam and I are SO thankful for both sides of our families and are (every year, more so!) in awe of their insane generousity. That said, there is no way I can even get EVERYTHING I got on here, it was so much!!, so I just want to highlight some of the things I was super excited about getting...

My sweetie pie husband bought me some beautiful pearls...and it was a total surprise, which made it even better! From Adam's parents: a very "me" Vera Bradley purse... ...and a Cricut Expression!!!!! To say I was DELIGHTED would be like, the understatement of the year. =D!My Nanny took me shopping and I picked out this dress, which I LOVE, along with lots of other things, including some spending money!

From my parents...they got me SO much too...lots of things I have been wanting but never buy...she just knows me so well, it's amazing. I love you, Mama! Thanks to you and Daddy for everything, I loved each and every single thing!!

I am super excited to finally be getting this book...I've already looked through it a couple of times...I just love her style!

I also got lots of gift cards, yummy candy, and tons of other stuff I wanted. Adam got tons of stuff too, and we are amazed at how blessed we really are! =)

I think I may have to do a part three! I have TOO many pictures...

Aw...how stinkin' sweet is this???And, quite arguably my proudest and most time-consuming handmade project of all time, I made Tay & Tori both matching Ming-Ming (from the Wonder Pets tv show) shirts...these took such a long time, but it was my first time with really detailed applique and I had NO IDEA how many tools and secret techniques there are out there that could have made this a lot easier....BUT in the end, I was super pleased with how they turned out and they were SOOO excited when they opened them, which makes it doubly worth it!! =)
