Pregnancy!

It's been a while since I've posted!  I've been busy - you know, growing a baby (!!!!) and preparing for him!!  Yes, we're having a boy!! :)  Here's my weekly pregnancy shots from Week 13-Week 24 to tide you over until I find time to blog about our gender reveal appointment and party, and all the progress/exciting things we're working on for little Jackson's room. Plus some random crafts, cards & layouts I've got stashed away to share...one day! :)

Strawberry Fun!

I took a half day off a few Fridays back and picked up my two favorite neice-ies and headed to my mom's house for some strawberry picking fun.

 There was a quick lunch and then pictures...

 Then we got our shoes on and loaded up...

 When we got to the strawberry farm, we checked out the animals first...

 Then we headed to the fields...sadly, there had been terribly picked over due to the farm scheduling all of the school field trips on the same week (approx. 400 kids!)...so we laboriously went down almost four rows and found...almost nothing!

 

 This was our ENTIRE haul...haha! My mom wanted to make strawberry jelly, but...it wasn't happening this time! So we sat down and ate every one of them right there on the spot.

 

 And I took a picture of a picture! (I am such a big fan of my instant camera!)

 Then we went home where Grandma had all the fixings for pedicures...Auntie Amber also got a pedicure from Grandma...it was very fun!

 

 Tori wanted to sit still and get her nails painted too!

 

 Somebody was having a good time... 

 Then, we played with sidewalk chalk!

 Tori colored in all the letters....

 And Taylor got chalk all over her nose!

 Then, after a visit to see Nanny's dog Annie, they headed off.  But I think we packed quite a bit of fun in half of a day! :)  All the credit goes to Grandma, who had quite and adventure planned out (and good snacks to go with it!)

I went out for Tori's actual birthday with her mom & school friends to Red Elephant (and Uncle Adam & I bought balloons!) but these pictures are from her birthday party a few weeks later....she is the cutest little monkey...I love her so!  Special thanks to Adam's cousin, Jeni Lee for making her really, really cute shirt.  She is one of my two favorite little girls! (Bet you can't guess who the other one is! ;)

Tori's iPod Love Notes!

One Wednesday when I picked up the girls (earlier this year...I think in February), I let them play on their ipods while we waited (for a loooong time!) in the drive through at Burger King (because Auntie Amber didn't have any edible food in her house).  Tori asked me how I spelled "auntie" then "Amber" then "uncle" then "Adam" (but she got confused on "m" and put "n" instead).  She knew that was wrong and said, "Oh no, it is messed up, I will just erase it," but I told her I would  fix it and I did...and then took pictures!  It was a cake she made for AuntieAmberTaylorUncleAdam. :)

Little Lace Cuties

A while back now (maybe in February) I was planning to get the girls on a Wednesday night and while I was at Target, I saw these adorable outfits on clearance at Target...and bought them...they probably only got one or two wears out of them, but it was totally worth the pictures!! Little, lacey, ruffley cuties!

Manis & Pedis!

Melissa & I bought each other gift cards to Bliss for pedicures and she brought the girls along for some manicure/pedicure fun. Then we had a tasty dinner out...a fun time was had by all.

Exciting News!

Exciting News Part One: TODAY IS OFFICIALLY THE LAST DAY OF TAX SEASON! I honestly can say I have never been so happy as I am this year to see this day arrive...mostly because this tax season has been particularly exhausting and difficult because...

Exciting News Part Two: I'm Pregnant! :) Adam and I are very excited to welcome our first little bundle of joy into the world later this year!

We told our parents in fun ways, which deserves its own blog post (coming soon?!!) but here is a little sneak of part of the announcement fun!

And furthermore, we discovered that our home is a baby-making haven...a mama bird has decided to hatch FOUR (bless her heart!) little birdies in our fern...it's pretty fun to keep an eye on them!
