Long time....

...no post. I have a wonderful excuse though...I have been cleaning, and organizing and purging EVERYTHING...closets, the garage, the spare bedroom. I am working on a "system" for all of our "hobby" stuff - my scrapbooking and his hunting. =) And I have made some SERIOUS progress. And I've been shopping for art + organization items to help us keep up the clean-ly state of things...and have found some grand bargains.

Sadly, nothing crafty.

However, I have a wonderful thought for today (and every day):

...because I am busy, busy, busy - with shower food and bills and homework and classes and work. =)

Nothing crafty, because...did I mention I've been busy?....but I did want to share a little promo that Dillards was/is(?) doing...one free full-sized cosmetic item (there is a list to choose from: night creams and shower gels and mascara and more!) I got Vera Wang Princess Body Polish and it smells soooo pretty!

Monday Favorites

Three favorite embellishments for a Monday:

1. 7 Gypsies 97% Complete Stickers - These come in tons of different themes...I think I have 12-15 of them...at about a dollar a sheet (50% off stickers at Hobby Lobby!!), they pack a pretty mean punch...I especially love using them to tie mini books together!

2. Little Yellow Bicycle Photo Mats - I just love the sweet die-cut edges on these photo-mats...that would be pretty hard to do yourself! It gives the focal picture just the right "edge"3. Amy Butler's Fabric Brads - these are my favorite today, because a) Seriously! They are Amy Butler! and b) I love brads and c) my mom bought them for me. Aw, thanks Mama

Cleaning House

I am cleaning, reorganizing and decorating. Took a load of stuff to Goodwill and am working on a "system" for the garage. Got some things decorated very cutely in our bedroom and am working on a few other cute touches around the house. I am taking this break seriously...it is so hard to get anything accomplished when you are gone all day and most nights.

Anyways, hoping to get a lot accomplished today, so I can scrapbook a few hours tomorrow! =)

Some of my favorite gifts: Starbucks gift card, Martha Stewart Cookies Book (LOVE this!!), some beautiful Amy Butler paper (I've already scrapped with this...pictures soon!), and a wonderful Martha Stewart scallop punch I have been wanting for a looooong time! I also got (not pictured) some Cricut cartridges, a Bind-it-All machine (love this too!), new bedding for our bedroom, a wonderful printer, a hand-crocheted (beautiful!) blanket...and really, much more. Adam and I both have such generous, loving families and we are so thankful for all the gifts and thought (and time) that was put into this Christmas season!
