Memorial Day Weekend...

...was filled with a lot of late nights and cramming. Very boring. We did, however, go up to Adam's parent's house for a few hours: After lunch, Adam talked Stephen into skimming on a giant puddle in the yard...
But there were two giant clumps of ants (those white things are the Queens and some eggs)...which was really cool to look at, but obviously, would not be fun to upset with a skimming wake...
Adam scooped them up in a bucket (this is the smaller clump) and Megan killed them with RAID (sorry, if you are an ant activist, you have come to the wrong blog!)
Skim time!
Then they decided to skim on the pond (I mostly took videos here, so I don't have pictures, but they did skim pretty far!)
And then, they swam for a little while...
What's a sunshiney day without shadow pictures?
Random crawfish Stephen saw in the yard...
And the main attraction: Stephen & Megan's new puppy, Mitzi Mae, sleeping after lots of excitement.
Look at that cute little face! The cause for the exhaustion - another cute puppy that came to visit! (Modeling the puppies is my lovely sister-in-law, Megan.)
And one of the little family all together...

Sigh. I love taking pictures. Now only to find the time to scrapbook them! =) Have a happy weekend!

Vacation Pictures (photo heavy!!)

This is a quick picture run-down of our vacation a few weeks ago...it was truly quite lovely. We went to Callaway Gardens and took in all of the Garden attractions, went golfing, attempted to go fishing and generally just enjoyed ourselves. =)

Check it out...

I made this fun little princess scepter a while back for dress-up sessions with Miss Taylor. We also attempted making princess crowns, but they didn't turn out quite like I had anticipated...heehee.

Anyways...GCD Studios feautured my little royal scepter on their blog today...go check it out here. I will try to post a tutorial of how I made it in the next week or so! =)

The Kid Brother's Graduation

Warning: photo overload! I do not claim to be a particularly good photographer and the night setting on a point and shoot gets such blurry pictures that I had to take everything with the flash, so - proceed at your own risk. =)

So my brother graduated this past Wednesday night. He was really good about letting me take a lot (for him!) of pictures. I recycled the signs from this post for one last loud, crazy, joint-family-effort Mosley hoorah. My mom bought an air-horn and our section (my dad's whole family and several of Trevor's friends) made a TON of noise when he walked across. It was fun! Then we waited for the other 400 kids to walk...then went to O'Charleys. Brought back a lot of happy memories (Adam came to my graduation and we started "talking" shortly after that). I'm proud of you, Trev!! =)
