Pretzel Bites and Favorite People!

I went to lunch a few days ago with two of my very favorite people....pretzel bites + pizza + Taco Casa lemonade + these two people make a VERY FUN lunch...thanks Mama! Made my day! =)

Valentines Recap!

Adam and I didn't really do anything fancy for Valentines day this year, but we did get our favorite little girls a few things...We got them these cute cotton matching dresses...they wore them Sunday and were ADORABLE! =)And I bought Tater this crazy cute little knee length shorts...I wish they made these for adults!!
I love Valentines Day! And these two cuuuuuuties!

They Fished All Night...

I sewed and stuffed these cute paper fish for my lesson in my Wednesday night class at church...we have been learning about the miracles of Jesus and this particular week we talked about the miracle the disciples experienced after fishing all night and catching no fish...until Jesus came along and told them to cast their nets on the right side...we had a "boat" and fishing net (crab net) and these lovely paper fish....and everyone got a turn to be the disciples....it was really cute and fun. =) I love it when the Lord blesses me with creative ideas!!These were our little activity sheets - scrapbook paper handcut fish, photo squares, and leftover netting from mini nets (below!)...super quick and easy!

These little nets were my pride and joy...haha...they took about an hour to make, so a bit of a time investment but the kids LOVED them...they kept emptying and filling them back up and singing our little song during snack time. So stinkin' cute. Here's a closer shot....

My class has been most of my crafty time lately, but it is so worth it to see their sweet little faces all excited.

Boondocks!!

A while back, we went with Bryan and Melissa to Boondock's, a local seafood restaurant. We had a really fun time...in part cause of this cute girl and her equally cute sister. This picture is just too cute for words...look at those little eyes closed...

GCD Studios Vday Card Set

Haha, original title! This is one of my last assignments for GCD Studios, to make a love card...I made a set of them...really love how rustic-y these turned out! =) Sorry for the lack of blog posts, it's hard to balance a full-time job, house cleaning, hubby time and make time to both craft and blog about it...haha! I'm sure some of you can relate! Gonna try to do better at planning this stuff though! =)

To Our Love

I did this "just for fun" layout and used a lot of technique-y stuff...paper strips, lots of punching, pop-dotting, and stitching...it's a sketch I've had in my head for quite some time...and I enjoyed just playing! It looks a little crooked, but it's just the picture...it's all straight in real life! =)

To make these pretty flowers, I just pop-dotted varying sizes of circle and circle-like elements with pop-dots (the scallop circles are cut with my Cricut) and inked all the edges!

My Favorite Color Combo.

A lot of people wouldn't probably guess this, but yellow is my very favorite color...it's so bright and happy. Paired with dark grey...sigh. I just really like it! So glad it's a bit trendy right now! This layout is one of many I still need to do for our honeymoon album...this is a waterfall we hiked a REALLY long time to get to on our honeymoon...my legs were noodles the rest of the day, haha!

Sad, but Happy!

I'm so sad to say that my design team time with GCD Studios has drawn to a close...it was SO much fun! I'm so delighted that I got to be a part of the first design team with them...it was my first too, and I feel as though I have learned a LOT (both design wise and presentation wise)! I love all the new products they are developing and the beeaaaauuuutiful "extra stuff" that Melody Ross is making to go with her collections. I'm sure to be a big fan of GCD Studios...for as long as we both shall live! ;)

However, if YOU want to try out for the new GCD Studios Design Team call, I have NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THEM. Seriously, no strings attached. They are so generous, nice and flexible...plus they are reserving TWO spots for non-published newbies...like I was! So definitely try out!! You just never know!!

I'll leave you with a little sneak of one of my last assignments for them...it is one of the most favorite pages I have ever made...with a few things I learned in 2009.

Crate Paper + Taylor + Adam =
